PALMYRA, Wis. (September 11, 2015)—During the month of August, Standard Process Inc. held a food and school supply drive on its campus. By the end of the drive, 520 non-perishable food items and 402 school supply items, including 15 backpacks, and $575 in cash donations had been donated by Standard Process. The donations were given to the Palmyra Food Pantry and the elementary schools in Palmyra and Eagle, Wisconsin.

As part of the donation drive, Standard Process matched all employee contributions. Standard Process’ 348 employees, who are based at the company’s Palmyra, Wisconsin, corporate headquarters, were up for the challenge.

“The donations of food and school supplies exceeded my expectations, and showed me just how much Standard Process employees care about this community,” said Angela Villela, Standard Process senior executive assistant. “This was our first year of the donation drive, and I can only see it gaining more momentum each year.”

On September 1, the food and monetary contributions were delivered to the Palmyra Food Pantry, located at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 313 E. Main Street.  The following day, Standard Process President Charles C. DuBois and Villela delivered all the school items to Palmyra and Eagle elementary schools.
“It was my pleasure to deliver these much needed items to the community on behalf of my employees,” said DuBois.  “Their dedication and support is part of the continued growth and future of the Palmyra-Eagle community.”
