Sage has been traditionally used in herbal preparations to:
- Support upper respiratory tract health*
- Help relieve temporary mild throat discomfort associated with hoarseness, dry throat and irritants.*
- Support and promote oral health as a gargle*
- Maintain normal body perspiration function*
Sage contains an essential oil (containing monoterpenes, including thujone), phenolic compounds (such as rosmarinic acid) and other phytochemicals. Sage 1:2 contains a minimum of 0.64 mg/mL of essential oil to ensure optimal strength and quality.
Suggested Use:
Dilute 5 mL (approximately 1 teaspoon) in water or juice once per day, or as directed.
Caution: Contraindicated in pregnancy. Contraindicated during lactation unless otherwise directed by a qualified health care professional.
