PALMYRA, W.I. (May 16, 2019) – The American Youth Foundation awarded the Community Empowerment Award to Standard Process at the annual Donald Danforth Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament Dinner and Auction on May 5 in Ballwin, Missouri.

“Standard Process appreciates our partnership with the American Youth Foundation, providing the next generation with opportunities to develop invaluable leadership skills and prepare them for a bright future,” said the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Charlie DuBois. “We are honored to receive the Foundation’s Community Empowerment Award, and we look forward to continuing to support the organization’s important work.”

Standard Process received the prestigious award for its ongoing commitment to helping fuel a mission focused on empowering youth to discover and develop their personal best, to seek balance in mental, physical, social and spiritual living and to make a positive difference in their communities and in the world.

Since 2014, the company has awarded nearly 70 scholarships to Standard Process employees’ children for attending the AYF National Leadership Conference. Company support covers event tuition and transportation for each youth, as well as provides them with spending money, sleeping bag, backpack, headlamp, sweatshirt and beach towel.

Upon their return from the conference, children and their parents both report increased engagement at home, in the community and at school, enabling them to pursue and hold leadership roles on athletic teams, in extra-curricular clubs and in their communities.

The American Youth Foundation is a non-profit youth development organization that engages thousands of children, ages 5-18, through leadership camps, conferences and year-round school and community programs. Learn more at: https://ayf.com/.
