Come for a tour and experience firsthand the Standard Process difference, from seed to supplement®.

You’ll receive an in-depth tour of our office area and manufacturing facility, where you will learn about:

  • How we test our products for quality in the microbiology and chemistry laboratories
  • Our proprietary Protomorphogen™ and Cytosol™ extracts
  • How we mill and mix product ingredients
  • How our tablets, capsules and perles are made
  • How bottles are filled and packaged
  • The shipping department and process
  • The important role of Customer Care
  • The Dr. Royal Lee Memorial Library

Season and weather permitting, you could also tour our 623-acre certified organic farm, where you may:

  • Walk or ride through the fields.
  • See the machinery used on the farm.
  • View the processing of raw plant ingredients.
  • Experience our greenhouse.
  • View test beds used to experiment with crops.

Tours consist of continuous walking and standing (for at least one hour), so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Read our visitor guidelines below to learn more about dress requirements and limitations.


Tours can be scheduled Monday - Friday during morning business hours.

Please request your tour at least three weeks prior to your visit, and make sure to arrive at your scheduled tour time. Farm tours are season and weather permitting.

Guidelines

  • Wear proper shoes (preferably with rubber soles). Sandals and open-toe shoes are not allowed.
  • Wear pants. Shorts are not allowed.
  • Safety glasses (provided) will be required.
  • During the tour of the main building/plant, cover beards, mustaches, and long sideburns with a beard cover (provided) and wear a hairnet (provided) that covers all hair. The exempt areas include offices, lunchrooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, maintenance areas, laboratories, the boiler room, and the compressor room. You are required to wear a hairnet in all areas other than the exempt areas mentioned above, including the hallways. A lab coat (provided) must be worn when in the warehouse, hallways, and production areas.
  • Hair/beard nets are also required while touring the farm.
  • Do not wear loose or dangling jewelry. All jewelry must be removed for the plant portion of the tour.
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the plant.
  • No smoking is allowed on the premises.
  • For safety reasons, nobody under the age of 18 is allowed to tour.
  • No video equipment or cameras are allowed in the plant at any time.
