Palmyra, WI. (May 24, 2022) – On April 2, 2022, Standard Process® President and CEO, Charlie DuBois, was presented with the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) President’s Distinguished Service Award at the university’s homecoming luncheon. Recipients of this award are determined by NUHS President, Dr. Joseph Stiefel; and over the years it has been presented only occasionally to a select few.
Standard Process and NUHS share a long history rooted in a 10-year-long friendship between Stiefel and DuBois. “Through his mindful leadership of Standard Process and generous support of National, Charlie has enabled the improvement of education for our students and therefore improved the lives of their patients. His contributions to countless communities around the world underscore the purpose of this award,” explained Stiefel
While Stiefel and DuBois share a mutual respect, it’s their common goal to support the NUHS community and the health sciences industry as a whole that’s been the foundation of a fruitful partnership. For example, Standard Process provided crucial funding for the renovation of NUHS’ anatomy and biochemistry labs, facilities that are now considered first-class standard across other campuses. What’s more, every trimester, chiropractic and naturopathic medicine students tour the Standard Process plant and farm. While there, students learn about the company’s industry-leading whole food-based nutritional supplements, including manufacturing practices. From seed to supplement, students observe the company’s utmost commitment to quality — an attribute they can apply to their clinic studies and careers moving forward.
“At Standard Process, we make products that change people’s lives. The impact that we can have on so many individuals around the country is what makes our work here so special,” said DuBois. “By supporting the NUHS community and campus I hope to extend that impact to the university’s students and faculty.”
