Standard Process Inc. Named to Wisconsin 75 List of Largest Firms

Third appearance on the annual listing for the whole food supplement manufacturer

PALMYRA, Wis. (October 14, 2010)—Standard Process Inc. announces its third straight appearance on Wisconsin 75, a list of the largest privately held businesses headquartered in the State of Wisconsin. Appearing on the list at No. 63, the Palmyra-based whole food manufacturer was honored during the appreciation breakfast held late last month in Milwaukee.

"Being honored as a top business in Wisconsin for the third consecutive year is especially exciting for Standard Process," said Charles C. DuBois, president of Standard Process. "Our continued growth reflects that, despite current economic conditions, people take their health seriously."

Standard Process gained one spot over last year's rank. The company's 2009 revenue of over $100 million hit a new milestone for the 81-year-old company.

Presented by Deloitte, an accounting and business consulting firm, the Wisconsin 75 program recognizes more than revenue, it also recognizes business contributions to local communities and the people who build the business. To qualify for the Wisconsin 75, companies must be headquartered in Wisconsin, majority owned by an individual(s), family or by an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), and have a minimum of $50 million in annual sales revenue.
