Standard Process Inc. Donates $5,000 to Palmyra Elementary School

Funds will be used to purchase new classroom library books

On behalf of Standard Process, Angela Villela, senior executive assistant, presents Palmyra Elementary School Principal Steven Greenquist a $5,000 donation to help the school purchase classroom library books.

PALMYRA, Wis. (November 12, 2015)—Standard Process Inc. donated $5,000 to Palmyra Elementary School in Palmyra, Wisconsin, on November 3. Principal Steven Greenquist said the funds will be used to purchase educational books for the school’s classrooms.

“Standard Process believes in giving children the tools needed to learn, grow and develop skills for the future,” said Angela Villela, senior executive assistant at Standard Process, who presented the check to Greenquist on behalf of Standard Process.

Standard Process has a long history of supporting the local community, particularly the children. In September, Standard Process and its employees donated $575 and school supplies to the elementary schools in the Palmyra-Eagle School District. In 2014, Standard Process contributed $1.2 million for the construction of an athletic complex to benefit the district’s students, as well as the greater Palmyra-Eagle community. The company also provides annual scholarships to local high school graduates through the Palmyra Community Foundation and sponsors area students to attend a youth leadership camp.
