Local Big Brothers Big Sisters Chapter Honors Standard Process Inc.

Standard Process praised for its commitment to community service

PALMYRA, Wis. (September 23, 2014)—Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth and Jefferson Counties is honoring Standard Process Inc. with an appreciation award for Standard Process’ 2014 commitment to the youth mentoring program’s annual fundraising event, Bowl for Kids’ Sake.
“Standard Process’ support of our Bowl for Kids’ Sake events in Delavan, Fort Atkinson and Janesville, Wisconsin, this year was appreciated,” said Mike Gosenheimer, secretary for the local chapter’s board of directors. “When companies like Standard Process step up to make a difference in their communities, they are directly impacting the lives of the children we serve.”
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature fundraising event held in cities across America. The event features bowling, food, raffles and silent auctions. As a non-profit organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters, one of the nation’s oldest and largest youth mentoring programs, relies on contributions from local businesses, individuals and foundations to support the growth of its mentoring program for area youth. This year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rock, Walworth and Jefferson Counties, is serving over 250 children. The organization and Standard Process share a common devotion to improving people’s quality of life.
