Natural Therapies Are Focus of Pain Management Lectures
at Integrative Healthcare Symposium

PALMYRA, Wis. (February 8, 2012)—Hal S. Blatman, M.D., will present two sessions on nutrition and herbal therapies for the support of chronic pain and fatigue at the 2012 Integrative Healthcare Symposium in New York City, February 9-11.
"Using unique, holistic approaches to support the body's response to chronic pain can greatly improve a patient's quality of life," Blatman says. During his lectures, Blatman will introduce specific nutritional supplements that he uses successfully to help his patients repair and recover from stress, fatigue, inflammation and pain. His lectures are:
- February 10, 7:30-8:15 a.m. "Innovative Nutrition and Herbal Therapies for the Support of Chronic Pain and Fatigue," sponsored by Standard Process Inc.
- February 11, 8:30-10 a.m. "Understanding Pain: What Works in Treatment, and What Dietary Considerations Really Count?"
Blatman is also a featured participant in the panel on pain management, "Integrative Approaches to Pain Management," February 9, 3:30-4:45 p.m. The multidisciplinary panel members will discuss their specific areas of expertise and approaches to pain management, including nutrition and herbal remedies.
