Standard Process Begins Construction on Plant Expansion

PALMYRA, Wis. (April 27, 2010) – Standard Process Inc., manufacturer of whole food nutritional supplements, has begun construction of a 12,000 square foot addition to its corporate headquarters in Palmyra, Wis. The project will expand Standard Process' existing 260,000 square foot headquarters to accommodate additional processing capacity. The expansion is estimated to be completed by October 31, 2010.

Once completed, the Jefferson County, Wis. manufacturer expects to add an estimated one to two new jobs to its current payroll of 283.

The new masonry addition will be located on the southwest corner of the building located at 1200 W. Royal Lee Dr.

Excel Engineering Inc. of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin designed the addition. Kotze Construction Co., Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is the builder.
