Standard Process 2nd Annual Blood Drive A Success
PALMYRA, Wisconsin (May 4, 2009)—Standard Process Inc. hosted its 2nd annual employee blood drive on Friday, May 2 at the company's headquarters in Palmyra, Wisconsin. Standard Process held the event to help raise awareness of the on-going need for blood nationwide. A record 58 employees signed up to participate, supplying the BloodCenter of Wisconsin with 45 pints of blood.
"Standard Process is pleased to host this event every year," says Kevin Setnes, company wellness manager. "The current demand for blood is growing, so the need for donations is extremely important. Through this event, our employees have a chance to give back to the community and support local hospitals."
