Standard Process President Receives Philanthropy Award

PALMYRA, Wisconsin (March 12, 2009)—Charlie DuBois, president of Standard Process Inc., a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of nutritional whole food supplements, was honored with the Parker Chiropractic College's coveted Philanthropy Award during Parker's 2009 Las Vegas Seminar in January. This award honors those who have given freely of their services, time, effort, support and funds for the benefit of the chiropractic professions.

DuBois attributed his generous giving to those chiropractors who have supported Standard Process for the past 80 years, helping Standard Process grow into the company it is today. "I have always felt that it was important that Standard Process gives back, and invests in the future of this profession. Receiving this award only strengthens my resolve to continue supporting the chiropractic community," said DuBois.

Dr. Gilles Lamarche, vice-president of Seminars and Development at Parker explained Parker's choice in DuBois, "Philanthropy is a major source of income for private educational institutions such as chiropractic colleges, and Mr. DuBois and Standard Process have exuded this quality by supporting chiropractic institutions for many years. He is a loving and caring man with a vision to change the health care paradigm of this world, and his support too many institutions will continue to give them the ability to move forward. The chiropractic profession and the millions of patients who receive chiropractic care will be forever grateful for the contributions Mr. DuBois and his family make to the greater good of others."

Since becoming company president in 1995, DuBois has worked tirelessly to support the chiropractic profession and its future. Under his direction, Standard Process has provided funding for endowed nutrition chairs and scholarship programs; supplied products to college clinics so students can receive hands-on nutritional education; and contributed money to campus renovations for many of the chiropractic schools.
