Standard Process Matches $102,000+ in Pledges to the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress

Total pledges contributed exceed the goal amount

PALMYRA, Wisconsin (January 21, 2009) – Standard Process Inc. has matched $102,263.68 in pledges made to the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), through Standard Process' 2008 chiropractic industry challenge, exceeding the $100,000 goal of the campaign. Standard Process is matching the pledges, providing the F4CP with a grand total of $204,527.36

Last year, Standard Process, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of nutritional whole food supplements, challenged its own chiropractic customers, chiropractic associations, colleges and vendors to support the F4CP by pledging donations throughout 2008. To make each donation go further, Standard Process offered to match dollar-for-dollar every pledge made. Standard Process and F4CP have been working together since 2005 to increase public awareness and appreciation of the value of chiropractic care.

To date, Standard Process has committed over $460,000 to the F4CP to support the growth of this industry and ensure that it will thrive for many years to come.

Continued financial support allows the F4CP to further its advertising and public relations campaign to inform and educate the general public about the benefits of chiropractic care. Coverage has included print ads, radio spots and TV commercials, reaching over 150 million households. Jerry Rice, future football Hall of Famer and Dancing with the Stars celebrity, is the campaign's newest spokesperson, providing his positive story about chiropractic and how it made him the most durable and feared wide receiver in the history of the NFL and then later as a finalist in the Stars program.
