Standard Process Commits $150,000 to the FCER DCConsult Website
PALMYRA, Wisconsin (April 14, 2008) – Standard Process Inc.®, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of nutritional whole food supplements, has committed $150,000 to the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER) to support DCConsult sm, the Foundation's new health care professional online resource center.
"Standard Process is pleased to support FCER. We are excited to be a part of emerging technology that makes it easier for health care professionals to provide patients with timely and accurate, evidence-based research on the value of chiropractic and nutritional care," said Standard Process President Charlie DuBois.
With their gift, Standard Process was invited by the FCER to become a Sustaining Founder. In accepting, Standard Process is the Foundation's first corporate sponsor to commit to that level of support.
FCER will use the $150,000 for further development of the current DCConsult website. The site was designed to provide chiropractors and health care professionals with information that will minimize risk and foster the best possible patient care. Content includes reviews of the scientific literature related to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common clinical conditions. The site will grow to feature special sections to address the needs of students, faculty, as well as national and international organizations.
