The company will receive an Investment In The Future award in recognition of Standard Process' current 100,000 square foot expansion and its plans to increase its workforce of 224 by an additional 50 full time employees over the next few years. The NBJ Business Awards are hosted by Nutrition Business Journal, a monthly executive publication focusing primarily on the nutrition industry.In announcing Standard Process as a recipient of its Investment In The Future award, NBJ reported that Standard Process sales grew 20% in 2006. The company's products are distributed through health care professionals. In 2006, Standard Process shipped 8.7 million bottles; more than 167,000 per week.
